  On 8 June, Deng Junyan, Chief Executive of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Green Development Alliance, and Zhang Nai’en, Chief Operating Officer, along with other representatives, visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, where they held discussions with Zhang Fanjing, Director of Office Adimistration of the China- LAC Technology Transfer Center , and other representatives.The two sides held in-depth discussions on key issues such as cross-border technology transfer and commercialization, joint applications for research projects, and the implementation of cooperation in the Latin American market. They reached a number of consensus points on cooperation, injecting new momentum into the overseas expansion of high-quality green technologies from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the deepening of science and Technology innovation cooperation between China and Latin America.

During the exchange, Zhang Fanjing stated that the CLTTC serves the broader national agenda of science and technology diplomacy in a pragmatic manner. Centring on technology transfer, the Center continues to build bridges for sci-tech innovation cooperation between China and Latin America, providing solid support for industrial synergy and the cross-border flow of innovation resources. Representatives from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Green Development Alliance introduced their established technology export system, highlighting their core technologies and implementation experience in green and low-carbon sectors such as smart agriculture, lithium-ion battery recycling and the conversion of waste plastics. They expressed their willingness to leverage the capabilities of CLTTC to expand into the Latin American market and promote the global dissemination of advanced technologies.

During the exchange, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on matters such as joint applications for research projects and the implementation of cooperation projects in Latin America, reaching a preliminary consensus on cooperation. In the future, both sides will fully leverage their respective resource and technological strengths to further connect with innovation resources such as universities, enterprises, and research institutes in Latin America, continuously promoting the transfer and transformation of advanced science and technology from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to Latin America, thereby empowering China-Latin America sci- tech cooperation and the high-quality development of green industries.
