On 11 June, a delegation led by Li Jinmao, Deputy General Manager of CETC Guoji Quantum Industry Co., Ltd., and He Yulong, Head of Department at the 16th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center. They held discussions with representatives including Zhang Fanjing, Director of Office Administration of the China- LAC Technology Transfer Center. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation in areas such as China-Latin America digital economy collaboration, the practical application of quantum technology and talent development, and jointly sought new avenues for cross-border scientific and technological cooperation.
During the meeting, Zhang Fanjing stated that, as the only comprehensive transnational technology transfer organization in China dedicated to the Latin American and Caribbean regions, the CLTTC has been committed to deepening scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges with Latin America since its establishment. Leveraging key platforms such as the China-Latin America Digital Education University Alliance, the Center has established a comprehensive service system for technology matching, talent development and the commercialization of research outcomes, while actively expanding its scientific and technological collaboration network with Latin America, thereby laying the foundation for cross-border scientific and technological innovation cooperation. Representatives from CETC Guoji Quantum Industry Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and other parties outlined their respective platform development, business strategies and resource reserves. They emphasized that their companies possess robust capabilities in quantum technology research and development and mature experience in project implementation, expressing their hope to achieve complementary strengths and mutual benefits by leveraging both parties' resources.

The symposium identified several areas for cooperation, and both parties reached a preliminary consensus on collaboration. In the future, they will fully integrate their respective resource strengths to jointly carry out cooperative exchanges such as international technology transactions and cross-border training programmes. It is hoped that by deepening cooperation with Brazil, they will jointly advance the development of the China-Brazil Technology Transfer Center, further opening up channels for connecting China’s advanced technologies with the Latin American market, and helping to enhance the quality and efficiency of China-Latin American sci-tech innovation cooperation.
