Following in-depth discussions, both parties reached consensus on specific implementation pathways for cooperation: First, deepen digital education collaboration by inviting university representatives to join the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance Committee to jointly establish standards for digital course development. Second, conduct joint research projects to foster local industrial talent cultivation through collaborative initiatives. Third, optimize platform mechanisms by upgrading the China-LAC-Cuba Innovation Cooperation Center into a technology transfer hub to enhance collaborative effectiveness. Fourth, academic exchanges will be enhanced by inviting university scholars to participate in conferences and journal publications organized by the Latin American Research Institute.

This meeting marks another significant milestone following the inauguration of the first overseas innovation cooperation center of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center at the Universidad de La Habana in May 2024, charting a new blueprint for long-term and sustainable development between China and Latin America. Moving forward, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center will collaborate with the Universidad de La Habana to establish a regular exchange mechanism, jointly cultivate high-caliber international talent, and propel the high-quality development of scientific and technological cooperation between China and Cuba, as well as between China and Latin America. This initiative will inject fresh momentum into building a China-LAC community with a shared future.
