To accelerate the process of internationalized education and jointly serve national strategies and regional development, representatives from the DGUT-CNAM Institute, Dongguan University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "DGUT-CNAM Institute") visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC) on the afternoon of October 16. The two sides held discussions focusing on international technology cooperation and enhancing educational standards, agreeing to explore substantive collaboration in multiple areas to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefit.

Attendees at the meeting included Yin Ling, Party Committee Secretary and Vice Dean of the DGUT-CNAM Institute; Lu An, Vice Dean of the DGUT-CNAM Institute; Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the CLTTC; and Lu Bing, Assistant to the Executive Director of the CLTTC.

The representatives unanimously agreed that deepening international sci-tech cooperation and integrating high-quality educational resources are crucial pathways for promoting high-quality development in education. Based on this consensus, the two sides will leverage internationalization as a driving force, implementing a coordinated package of initiatives combining joint education and scientific collaboration: Firstly, jointly establishing a training base to create a Spanish language training center integrating language enhancement, curriculum education, and exchange activities focused on Latin America; Secondly, strengthening educational cooperation by jointly applying for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs and exploring new mechanisms for cultivating interdisciplinary talents; Thirdly, building joint research laboratories focused on cutting-edge fields such as intelligent manufacturing and green energy to promote transnational R&D and results transfer.

This exchange not only laid the foundation for the college to enhance its international educational standards and global influence but also contributed to both sides' efforts in implementing the Belt and Road Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation Action Plan, collaboratively serving the broader context of national diplomacy and sci-tech cooperation. Moving forward, the two sides will continue to refine their cooperation mechanisms, clarify project implementation pathways, and jointly create a new model for China-LAC education and technology collaboration.
