On May 22, representatives from the Dongguan Agricultural Science Research Center, the Dongguan Rural Revitalization Promotion Center, and other organizations visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center. The two sides held discussions on agricultural technology cooperation, explored the potential for agricultural science and technology collaboration, and jointly promoted cross-border connectivity of agricultural technologies and industrial resources. The meeting was attended by Zheng Zhibo, Deputy Director of the Dongguan Agricultural Science Research Center; Wang Fang, Deputy Director of the Dongguan Rural Revitalization Promotion Center; Yao Fang, Deputy Director of Office Administration of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center; Yao Zeyi, Project Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center; and other representatives.

During the meeting, representatives of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center stated that since its establishment, the Center has been continuously providing solid support for the country's efforts to build a globally competitive open innovation ecosystem. By establishing platforms such as the Latin American Research Institute of the CLTTC and the China-Latin America and Caribbean Trading Platform, the Center has built a multidimensional science and technology cooperation system, forming a full-chain service loop covering country-specific research, smart education, technology trade, and rights protection. Representatives from the Dongguan Agricultural Science Research Center and the Dongguan Rural Revitalization Promotion Center noted that Dongguan has a rich pool of local agricultural research talent, which can provide technical and human resources support for cross-border agricultural R&D. They expressed hope that both sides would deepen agricultural science and technology cooperation by leveraging their respective strengths, achieving resource complementarity and mutual benefit.

After thorough discussions, all parties reached a consensus to deepen regular cooperation with agricultural technology as the core. First, they will coordinate with the Latin American Research Institute to jointly apply for agricultural research projects and cooperation initiatives. Second, they will use the China-Latin America and Caribbean Trading Platform to help Dongguan agricultural technologies and specialty agricultural products expand into the Latin American market. Third, they will jointly organize international exchange events in the agricultural field, expand international cooperation networks, and promote cross-border sharing of agricultural research resources.
Going forward, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center will further strengthen coordination and collaboration with the Dongguan Agricultural Science Research Center, the Dongguan Rural Revitalization Promotion Center, and other parties, integrate their respective platforms and resources, and systematically advance joint research, resource matching, and co-organization of events, continuously supporting the integrated development of scientific and technological innovation, industry, and economy and trade between China and Latin America.
